Small wins. Haven't had a dermatology appt in a long time, heard wait times are really long to get in, like 3 months. Saw old Dr. who sold his biz (now the Pinnacle chain of clinics) and moved away was back with his own office. Just called and they have an appt cancellation tomorrow I can get. Simple pleasures, man. ;)
Mrs. Velo set up an appointment at the beginning of the year and it was almost 8 months! That is her regular dermatologist, she isn't a new patient or anything.

We each get full body scans once a year, and those are set up well in advance. But as established clients, if we have concerns about a spot, we call and we're in within 10 days.

Have no idea how this happened but my garbage disposal just all of the sudden while it was running just detached with the water running. All I could do was watch the water go into an empty hole until it dawned on me to turn both the water and disposer off. Thankfully we had a plastic container that holds we store some small brushes in and it doubles as a catch basin if any connection/ drain trap would leak. It did its job! Had it reattached in about 15 minutes and another 30 minutes to dry everything else off. Just really strange.

I killed a dozen flies in the house today. Good lord, they seem to be spontaneously generating in the house. Not sure how they all got in or if I have a dead chipmunk somewhere with a bunch of maggots turning into flies. They were all a bit lethargic and easy to swat.

Flies killed in the house this morning clocked in at nine kills. Weird stuff, man. Have not opened a door yet today. So, got be hatching somewhere indoors. Not in garbage, that's only four days worth in the trash. Not in sink or disposal. Even checked the dryer vent because a chipmunk out into the venting years ago and died in there.

Bathroom vents?

If The Amityville Horror taught me anything, I'd say your house is haunted.

Up to 19 kills for the day.

And a few probables. Pulling my swats a little so I don't damage the screens, they seem to be migrating to the windows trying to get out of the house.

Neighbor is getting her house painted. 3 days so far of taping and getting ready to spray it. 3 guys. They could have pretty much finished by now if they were just painting by hand and it would last a lot longer

I'm having a hard time not picturing Boxster as the Brave Little Tailor.
