    I spoke to my daughter about the new steak house, in the Brick City Grill, she is friends with the large Realtor here in Ames daughter and for some reason the deal fell through. So the building is still vacant.

    If you like an old time ice cream place that serves a great tenderloin drive down to Goldies in Prairie City, great service, very fast and very good food. Takes about an hour from Ames if you drive east of Nevada and then down towards Colfax. Well worth the road trip.

    Rent in SD is going to cost you twice what it would in Ames or Des Moines, don't get me wrong its a beautiful area of the country and wonderful weather, but the cost of living is approaching Seattle and SF levels.

    If you can afford housing, it's a little less than three times higher than in Ames, on average over 900K in SD while Ames is around 330K for the average home.

    His record vs EIU is about par for what the history of the games between the two schools have always been, about a 1 to 2 ratio wins to losses. We also forget that programs like Texas bottom out a few years ago when we were beating them.

    Just a beautiful area of the county, lots of trees and the people are very cordial at least on the surface. We really like the Ashville area but we have not been there since the hurricane a few years ago and that did a lot of damage.
