Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

Oh I don't disagree but Brad thinking he could do this as a side gig was a total miscalculation. In the long run these collectives aren't sustainable.

Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

I have no shame dogpiling on Iowa. Fran has been a terrible recruiter for years but has been bailed out by three generational players. If it wasn't for Garza Fran would have been fired years ago. I also don't think you can over emphasize how much Fran has benefited from a really down B1G. He's...

SEC/Big Ten Developing Plan to Share Revenue with Athletes

The networks can't afford for this to happen, interest in general would drop like a rock. Step 1 is for the power conferences to step away and essentially form their own league. If optimization is the idea then step 2 will be scrapping conference affiliation for football and creating regional...

I think Brad also grossly underestimated how much work it would take to raise funds. He's flat out said that the wealthier "older" fans aren't buying in like they expected. Sounds like it's been a real struggle.

Listening to him though, he clearly has concerns on being able to not just cycle, but grow the contributions for the next year. It seems like he outkicked his coverage on the whole deal. But hey, the SWARM is doing it all the right way, just ask him.

Exactly. He's the reason that Iowa fans think that the Albaugh family is funding the Iowa State program... You know the the exacts same program that Iowa fans have called poor all of a sudden is flushed with cash to buy players. Such a bunch of turds.

Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

Heather and Sean played some of Heinrich's SWARM clips from the Chadsters show yesterday and man he just comes across as such a whiny pompous a$$. Basically Iowa is doing it the right way and their resources are limited. He was also crying about how expensive QB's and portal basketball players...

Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

Swarm CEO Brad Heinrich's was on the Chadsters Wednesday night KNXO radio show and referenced women's hoops as a revenue generating sport. I'm sorry but if your collective figure head doesn't know which sports operate in the red that seems like a bit of a problem.

Iowa High School BEDS count 24-25

Looking at the bed count numbers really serves as another reminder that the western 1/3 of Iowa is dying. A lot of these districts are already quite large mileage wise and thy are running out of viable consolidation options too.

Iowa High School BEDS count 24-25

The 6th graders still being in the elementary schools just sucks. They are treated like little kids and they need to be in the junior highs. Our son is a 7th grader and he has absolutely LOVED everything about junior high.

Iowa High School BEDS count 24-25

The school board actually approved for the freshman to move into the high school shortly before covid hit. Southwoods was going to be converted to a trades type school. The elementary schools are all K-6 and there are two 7/8 Junior Highs. They were also going to push the 6th graders to the...

Urbandale is land locked. All of the Urbandale growth is in the Waukee school district.

Iowa High School BEDS count 24-25

WDM made the right decision to not spilt. When those discussions were taking place people also knew that was probably the pinnacle of Valley enrollment and in the long run enrollment would slide due to urban expansion. That is 100% happening.
