    There isn't a ******* chance in hell the B10 takes ISU. B10 can sit tight and let things develop. Certainly no need for them to reach at a KU or ISU right now - likelier IMO that they'd look at a UVA, BC type move anyway

    Add Nebraska and Cincy and then you can do the north/south thing like we used to pre-split. **** nebraska forever but as an ISU football fan I don't understand how you wouldn't want to play in a division with UN, WVU, KSU, KU, and Cincy. Thats a trip to Dallas at least 1/3 of the time given...

    One thing to separate them (to some degree) from the other students but entirely another to send "normal" students home for supposed safety reasons while keeping a very select group of people (who just so happen to make millions for the university) around

    That's the way this works but from an optics/PR perspective it can't happen like that. If a player's academic/social/personal life is totally modified to facilitate a football season, it becomes almost impossible to assert that they're at University X for any reason other than playing football...

    Biggest threat to a season is unequivocally the recent movement for collective bargaining/against amateurism. B1G/Pac12 are more interested in perpetuating the fallacy that these kids are students first and athletes second because they know that financially it would be more expensive long-term...

    if Prohm leaves Jamie's first call should be to Rick Pitino or Dana Altman or someone with a lot of d1 experience Otz will always be around and hopefully would have the chance to get more experience but making a splash with an experienced, successful coach (who probably wouldn't stay that long)...

    Kinda stupid but honestly at what point does ISU get too big? In-state kids deserve opportunities, no doubt, and I know that the out-of-state kids are worth more in tuition but I can't help but think that there is a certain point at which kids who would have been more than fine 15-20 years ago...
