    A couple of my favorites that I didn't notice mentioned: The Rookie (with Dennis Quaid) Kicking and Screaming Sugar (2008) (a great movie about the trials of a Dominican baseball player trying to make it as a professional in the U.S.)

    I'm not sure if everyone realizes what the facilities at major D1 baseball programs are like. They are better than most minor league facilities and a far cry from Cap Timm Field. There's no way ISU has the funds to compete. My son played at Arizona State, and they averaged over 3,000 in home...

    Interesting side note about this song. The instrumental jam at the end was entirely improvised by the band after they thought they had stopped recording. It turned out so well they decided to keep it in.
