Chicago Bears bought Arlington Heights track only to build in Indiana?

Northwestern to Hammond is 37 miles, but through heavy Chicago traffic that is easily a 90+ minute drive on an ordinary traffic day. Notre Dame to Hammond is 76 miles, but also 90 minutes on a ordinary traffic day. Purdue to Hammond is 101 miles, but could be only 90 minutes on a great traffic...

Chicago Bears bought Arlington Heights track only to build in Indiana?

Here are a few interesting little tidbits from my perspective: The 1986 Era Bears practiced in the old Halas Hall in Lake Forest, Illinois. 36 miles north of Soldier Field. I lived a block away from the old Halas Hall from 1986 to 1990. And for those of you who don't think there is much...

    Milan's Zoom Call

So nobody met in person? That might explain some of the lack of chemistry by Kentucky in the NCAA tournament game last year!

Your distances seem high. I think: Soldier Field to Hammond is closer to 20 miles. Soldier Field to Arlington Heights is closer to 30 miles.

Williams & Blum: SEC/Big Ten joint statement, Wesley Johnson, and more

As you look back on it from a business perspective, was "taking a trim" off of our Big 12 share in order to get the last few teams a good investment?

DAILY CLONE: What are the expectations for Jaylen Raynor? (June 4, 2026)

Interesting to think about Rayner, not in terms of game length stats, but clutch plays.

    RV Village question-Class A folks

All I can say is that most of the folks on the south end of the RV Village are "A+ Folks!"

What will the Jimmy Era Walk Out Song Be?

First of all, it has to be something with "Jimmy" in it. Are there any other coaches named Jimmy? Second, doesn't the coach run out with the players? If so, he doesn't really have his own "walk out song" like TJ in basketball.

CONTEST TWO: Solve this puzzle to win a free Fanatic book by Chris Williams - PART TWO POSTED

I've Googled a bunch of the terms and still have no idea. @Kagavi is probably enjoying this too much.

    Milan Momcilovic commits to Kentucky

On one hand, I would think that Kentucky fans would hate Milan for what he did to them in the NCAA tournament in St. Louis. On the other hand, if you can’t beat him, hire him!

CONTEST TWO: Solve this puzzle to win a free Fanatic book by Chris Williams - PART TWO POSTED

Huh? I have no idea about this puzzle. I can’t even think of an intelligent question to ask you that might help me. Glad my job is only to send the book to the winner.

Monday Musings: The death of the hate watch

The test of Iowa State hate will be when Audi Crooks returns. I can't cheer for Oklahoma State to win at Hilton, but I can give a nice positive welcome when Audi is introduced.

Williams & Blum: Congress vs. College Sports, Momcilovic Gone & Texas Tech Fires Back

We are not content with you doing your best. We demand you to be "perfect!" And by perfect, we mean saying exactly what each of us wants you to say. In other words, without the sarcasm, listen, but don't be too oblicated to our comments. You guys are great. Trust your instincts. They have...

Williams & Blum: Congress vs. College Sports, Momcilovic Gone & Texas Tech Fires Back

So, now that I've defended the guys, I will offer my own correction. I don't think Milan "got exposed" by Tennessee. Most people knew that Milan was vulnerable in a situtation like that. I thought it was even more evident in Tuscon a few weeks earlier. The Tennessee game was just...

Williams & Blum: Congress vs. College Sports, Momcilovic Gone & Texas Tech Fires Back

Sorry, but I don't recall them saying it so strongly. I remember them saying that Milan really wants to go to the NBA, but I remember lots of disclaimers over the last few months about not knowing for sure what is going to happen. Seems that some of the listeners mistook their opinions for...
