    I live in Texas now. Good news is if you don't like one area, plenty more areas to find with reasonable prices if you are willing to live out in the middle of nowhere. But it also depends on where you live in these states too when it comes to pricing.

    agree with this 100%. When I sell, I am going out of state to retire in a cheaper state where my dollar stretches further.

    Went to Madison in May. Very nice city and the lakes are incredible. Downtown was very nice as well. Only complaint was parking was a bit chaotic.

    I have noticed for sure. Wish there were more closer to SA. I live west of San Antonio and went to my first game with DFW Cyclones last year at TCU. Plan on doing the same for the game in Waco this year!

    the more i go to Houston the more I realize there are more Iowa State fans there. Last two trips there I have run into Cyclone fans. Love it.

    Living in South Texas, the first thing I think about when I come back from vacation from other states is "Why do I live here?" I don't ever blame people for wanting to leave somewhere where they have been for years and years.

    Oh, I get this. I just meant that I have been a Texans fan since 2002. It's cool to see others hop on the wagon as well. Texans aren't really a team many people want to attach themselves to.
