    Cincy would pay the same as Ohio State for NIL settlement. Not fair. How about the settlement is a % of the school's revenue? Ohio State has had athletes with more NIL and thus more damages from restricting NIL should apply to Ohio State.

    12 Big 10 teams in Lunardi's field. Wow. I get they added 4 teams, but we added 4 teams and the Big 12 is projected only 7 per Lunardi. Digging deeper, Lunardi sees a top heavy Big 12 and mediocre Big 10 with their title winner, Purdue, and Indiana with a 4 seed as best.

    This portal really sucks for Northern Colorado and all small schools. After he won the title, it was refreshing to hear his post-match interview where he was proud of wrestling for UNC. Nickerson was pumped and happy like he himself won the title.

    Dodds article is two parts: the new topic, revenue sharing. The 2nd is to reinforce - again - that the Big 10 and SEC have much more revenue than others. Thanks Dodds, not like we haven't heard that before.

    Yeah, not sure why the Big 12 and Big 10 haven't set up a Challenge yet. Comparable team numbers, both Fox. SEC and ACC, both ESPN, set their Challenge up many months ago.

    Memphis gets a lot of crap (not sure why), but they have Big 12 type fan enthusiasm, good football and basketball, are a state school, have a big booster, and are in the Big 12 footprint.

    Yep. It is up to the college presidents and fans to fight back against the media's interest which is consolidation. For example, if you ask Fox/ESPN/CBS, etc. about baseball, they probably would want to consolidate it down to the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, and others excluding 25-50% of the teams.

    Yeah, I see the confusion, and I am guilty of using the same name when talking about different things. The Super League term was for the 80 team league proposed by the WV and Syracuse presidents. Crakes and Thompson are saying the Super League won't be 80 teams but will be a lot less, 34 teams...
