    Absolutely out of control. When you have practically every major college team (maybe every major conference team) paying more for their roster than G League teams when the worst G League team would easily beat the National Champ and football teams paying more than CFL rosters where those teams...

    That would be fine. Place buyouts into the deal so a new school has to pay the buyout and then ‘pay’ the player whatever is negotiated. At least NIL funds would be replenished from all this movement.

    Gilbert is a grown man. If he wanted to play he would. Maybe this is exactly what he wanted, but was too scared to say/do it on his own so daddy is helping. That would make more sense than an independent young man caving to his daddy.

    For as good as this team was the first 1 1/2 months of the season, the last month and a half has been very mediocre and produced a 6-6 record. If they keep playing like this it will be an early exit from both the conference and national tournament. Looking back on the 8 min TJ press...

    And yet another throw under the sticks. At this point I truly believe these guys are being coached to run short of the sticks. It’s the only explanation given how frequently this team does it over CMCs tenure.

    Bad luck would be a couple. 8 is simply poor decision making which is routinely called out during games by announcers when he is trying to force throws. Happens several times a game and has really hampered this team at times. Yesterday that was a 14 point swing.

    Paying player significant NIL money in this league is not going to pay dividends. This program’s culture is not built on paying hired guns. We both know that - and if somebody is only looking for the biggest payday then they should probably head out.

    Gosh I didn’t realize all we had to do was pay Matt and the rest of the coaching staff another $3-4m and they would start coaching and recruiting at a 100% level. Thank you for opening our eyes to the sandbagging that has been going on - I appreciate it.
