His game actually reminds me more of Naz than Matt. Not sure Matt had the athleticism to finish that play last night (where Tyrese dove for a tip out under the hoop on the inbounds). Tyrese rightfully gets more credit for that play, but wasn't an easy finish by any means

So what're we looking at for a line next year? Most of these guys have still barely seen the field but they're the ones I feel like i've heard the most about. Getting Hudson in there to grate some roads would be excellent. Ramos Trieber/Remsburg Newell Downing Hudson/Foster

QUOTEBOOK: ULM head coach Matt Viator on the 'Clones

My favorite quote in reference to ISU as a team and how they operate: "It’s going to be, ‘Come get you some.’ That’s the attitude." Love that.

Dig it. I always liked Talley's game. Wish he could've carved out a more significant role in his second year, but love hearing how quality of a transfer Javan will be. That'll give our guards a little more height for the future with Zion stepping into (hopefully at least by then) a more...

I can't shake the feeling that Javan Johnson is Zoran Talley reincarnate. They're both tall small forwards without much of an outside shot, but excel at penetrating. But, that's just my take from seeing statlines at cap city. Anyone have a take on his role next year?

Expectations are a *****. Which team underperforms and which overperforms in conference play this year (in football — a lot to still be shaken out for basketball)

Bleacher Report posted a list of top 2020 NFL draft picks. On that list were several Iowa State players, most of them I wasn't surprised by. But Bryce Meeker and Julian Good-Jones were kind of surprising (especially Meeker). What have they done to get there?

Matt Campbell addresses Ohio State rumors

He's just getting started. The underclassmen are impressive and every year, they just keep getting more so. As a competitive person and a winner, I don't see how he walks away from something just as it's getting the wheels rolling. And for what? Money and recruits who want to play for you...

    Did we underachieve? Meet expectations?

I think this season really sets the tone for the program's future. How do we respond to a down year? Will talent and potential equate to wins, or will lack of chemistry and leadership define the season once again... I'm nervously optimistic.
