    This is spot-on. If you want to park your boat in your front yard, have thousands of plastic yard animals in front of your house, then don't live in an HOA. There's plenty of room out in the county.

    Fair comment. I just think walking into a job with no local contacts makes it really tough. Plus, USC fans aren’t going to give him more than 3 years, if that. It’s a totally different deal compared to ISU. Again, if he leaves, fine…good for him. We’ll move on.

    Seriously??? Saban had many contacts in the South going back to his days at Michigan State. And oh, BTW, LSU and Bama in the modern age aren't USC. Big difference in support, facilities, etc. Pete Carroll was a southern Cal guy.
