    my guess is that they're just following the trends. that logo from the mccarney era is all over apparel on campus. seems like the more 90s, the better for these kids. if you look at the crowd shots during games you'll see an unsettling amount of kids wearing shirts with that gross wreath...

    having messed with exactly what you're describing i think it starts to look too busy when you try to use the 5 stripes stretched out down the length of the pants. maybe something more subtle like this so the pants don't feel too plain?

    i agree...it will be impossible to look distinct/unique if you limit yourself to regular horizontal sleeve stripes. if we want to be different with the sleeves we need to throw the trice stripes on there or improve upon our current 'tornadic' sleeve design or something.

    i think it looks fine to have white stripes on the outsides with only 3 layers (like on the chiefs red unis), but with 5 stripes and beyond it gets awkward looking...unless you mix in the contrast of the cardinal jersey, in this case.

    i'm not understanding how this has any similarities to Bucky whatsoever other than the angle. as for the tail feathers...i mean, that's what a cardinal looks like. the current version of barrel chested cy has some kind of turkey feather butt thing going on that i never understood.
