    2025 NFL Draft

I don't think Porter makes it out of R2 either. With his athleticism and upside someone will take him knowing that he'll be a willing and standout special teams player from day one.

2025 NFL Draft - Call your shot

I would LOVE Higgins to the Packers at 54. Don't know if he'll be there though. I think Porter goes in the 2nd as well. He's been getting a lot of hype after the combine. Too much upside to drop to the 3rd.

    2025 Transfer Options

Will definitely need Bateman and/or Toure to step up and be able to play meaningful minutes and score for us to be towards the top of the league. TJ is due to hit on another freshman or two that can play right away.

    2025 Transfer Options

Would love it if TJ can reel this kid in. Interest from teams with lots more $$ than ISU though. Ugh

    Blake Buchanan commits

Wow, I guess we might as well just write off the 25/26 season then. Apparently none of these transfers are worth a crap and they have no opportuanity to improve in TJs system like so many other transfers have before but lets just write off the whole bunch. The negativity before a single one...

    Milan Rumors - Hand Injury

That would be my guess. Heise to start, keep Jones 6th man and Nojus/Watson fill in a few minutes.

    Milan Rumors - Hand Injury

Didn't realize Watson was injured, I guess that explains why he wasn't getting many minutes. Anyone know how close to 100% he is now?

    Iowa Western loses title game

Iowa State vs. Miami in Pop Tarts Bowl (Orlando)

I agree that I'd like to see them move the pocket more. Rocco can move pretty good and getting him out of the pocket with open throwing lanes would help get some easy completions. Even a few quick swing passes to Sama, getting him on the edge in space and letting his speed take over would be...

Pollard in a war of words with SMU AD

Exactly, thats whats most frustrating. The Big 12 CONFERENCE CHAMPION is projected as a 12 seed and will play on the road. That is a complete joke! At the very least if a conference champion doesn't make the top 4 seeds they at least deserve to play at home, no questions asked. Would it be...

ISU CB Darien Porter's become a top NFL prospect in first season as a starter

With his length and speed he will be an enticing prospect for NFL teams and given the fact that he has extensive special teams expierence that will make him more valuable. I could see him going somewhere around the 5th round, especially if he gets an invite to the Senior bown and possibly...

    Kansas Game Thoughts (Defense specifically)

KU scored on 6 straight possessions and 5 of those were touchdowns. Thats unbelievable, even with the injuries on defense. I do think there is something to the 3 man front and not getting any sort of pressure on the QB and having difficulty against the run. At this point it just isn't working...

Could there have been the thought of putting them in the closed end zone that it would make it louder for the oppposing team when in that end of the field?

    ******* Iowa Weekly Discussion Thread***

Agree 100%, getting Rocco out of the pocket on designed plays is huge. Keeps the D line off balance and they can't just pin their ears back and rush to one spot. It also forces the LBs and DBs to keep eyes on him to defend the run.
