    Tang only claims he is happy. Not the cleanest sentence. Claims “he has spoken … and is happy ….” The subject of happy is “he” which is Tang. I am absolutely convinced that TJ is Not happy about being accused of cheating.

    I’m pretty sure that the source for the Wichita/KC reporter was that nut job assistant coach. He wouldn’t write that story without a fairly connected source IMO.

    Confusing isn’t it. Best I can tell, you really have 2 GOR negotiations in this case. The first one was based on the main ESPN contract (with the extension provision?) that lasted until 2027. Later, the ACC wanted an ACC network with ESPN and they extended the GOR I think in 2016 until 2036...

    I’ll stop after this. The problem with the second bolded argument is that the ESPN contract with the no reduction clause lasts only to 2027. Guarantee you that ESPN will decline their option to extend that contract if FSU leaves, harming the remaining members as any subsequent contract would be...

    I agree and think the Big10 is a less unified conference going forward after these latest moves. Best guess is that today’s hiccup was as much a Big10 member issue as anything. I still think adding the first 2 western outposts were a mistake and adding 2 more doesn’t really solve that problem...
