    Since it is April........ It would be awesome to finally win 10 games in a single football season. Earning a 1 or 2 seed in both MBB and WBB would certainly imply that the seasons were excellent. The NCAA Tournament often comes down to matchups and officiating and player health and luck.

    Totally agree. Interestingly, the guy who sat next to me at Hilton last night complained about Tamin most of the first half. Kept yelling for Tamin to "redeem himself." Seems as though Tamin did. And I have to admit, I was not feeling too positive about the team's chances at halftime.

    I am not so sure that the conference champ will win more than 12 games. Nine wins in this conference will be very good and likely a 4 or 5 seed in NCAA.

    Bowl games are like the NIT. The NIT exists, but it really does not matter to anyone beyond the fans of the teams playing. Seems about the same for the bowls. If the players don't play, then fans are not going to care very much. Then again, let's see what the ratings are for this bowl season...

    For a number of years, the gifts we each received from the kids were actually gifts that we purchased for each other. After 43 years of marriage, we have not actually bought each other gifts for a decade or more. But now, the kids actually buy us gifts since they are adults. It is a nice switch!

    I absolutely agree when it comes to success and playing lots of freshmen this year! I think it may be best to truly judge a class based upon a team's success over 4 years.

    It would be very impressive to keep 90 percent of the roster! In this day and age, keeping 70 percent for four years would be impressive considering transfers and dismissals and so on. Will be interesting to see actual numbers in this area.
