    Hy-Vee's weirdest business decision yet?

Did this actually air? I'm too lazy to go through all the threads to see.

***Official where is Matt Campbell interviewing thread***

With all due respect, there's more than that. Yes, CMC has shown its not all about the Benjamins. At the same time.... all I'm saying is... there comes a point in time where all of us, in whatever field we are in respectively, would leave a job we are happy at and could see ourselves at for 25...

    2025 NFL Draft

So very valid but two quick points and then like you said, agree to disagree. 1) I don't think any Giants fans see hope with the current regime in place, no matter who they draft. That's also part of why I don't take a QB high, cause I don't him coming into that hornet's nest. Playing in NYC...

    2025 NFL Draft

Here's why - especially with the Giants I don't take a QB year 1. A) I don't really like any of them. Like, how much better is Sanders or Ward than McCord, Jennings or Howard? A little bit, sure... but significant? IDK. B) For the Giants in particular, I potentially have a lame duck GM and...

    2025 NFL Draft

It is if you hit it right and get the guy with a good team. Nick Foles won a superbowl and was super bowl MVP Colt McCoy played 13 seasons in the league, wasn't terrible. Matt Schuab had a pretty good run with the Texans And you wouldn't be with the Giants going all in. I'd have them compete...

    2025 NFL Draft

I'd stay away from Rourke, just because multiple knee injuries. I like McCord. Not super athletic but honestly, he's who'd Id take if I'm the Giants GM. If I'm the Giants this would be my plan: Trade back to around 8-12 or so. Banks, Milum or Campbell at Offensive tackle is pick #1...

    ***2025 NFL coaching carousel***

Valid. And I'd have said the same thing about the Lions. Sometimes I still have to pinch myself. I knew I was excited when they hired Campbell and Holmes but never in a million years did I think they'd become this good. I just thought - ok, wild card type team, hopefully, win a playoff game...

    2025 NFL Draft

    1. Stefanski is a good coach. Great? IDK, he's good though. 2. If I'm the Giants and Raiders... I want to trade back, not up. Seriously. Maybe I'll be proven wrong but this is one of the very most "meh" top 10s in NFL draft history I can remember. None of the QB's are that impressive to the...

    ***2025 NFL coaching carousel***

For all the crap Nagy gets, and deservedly, the man wasn't bad. Was he great? No. But he was not bad. Also, the Bears problems are 1) Lack of stability at HC. 2) Ownership / leadership seems a CF at times 3) Easily the worst team in the NFC north and what's gonna change? Half the Lions died...

    ***2025 NFL coaching carousel***

Jets job is super intriguing *IF* Rodgers leaves. Because have Wilson, Hall, other young talent, and play in a division that has one team a long ways away, one good team and another whose QB sadly can never stay healthy. Like, you are literally competent coaching and league average QB play away...

    ***2025 NFL coaching carousel***

I think its the wrong move... and I wouldn't want to be a QB to the Giants. Smarter move for the Giants would have been... clean house. Trade back. Get draft picks. Try to "finally" get the OL to play better, address some other needs, take a Day 2 quarterback and see what happens

    ***2025 NFL coaching carousel***

Early on I'd say probably in terms of attractiveness 1. Jaguars - still have Lawrence, relatively weak division but fickle Owner and lack of stability 2. Bears- Williams showed promise but man, brutal division and lack of stability at HC 3. Jets - some young talent, but the salary cap and...

    2025 NFL Draft

Man, I wouldn't take any of those guys top 5. Maybe even top 10, at quarterback. This QB draft class IMO is vey weak. Sanders - talented, but gets rattled when pressured and I don't always love the attitude piece, but he's young, talented, so he'd be the one if I had to take one. Ward - maybe...

    ***2025 NFL Season***

Glenn's deserving, no doubt but as a Lion's fan... the defense is still, very "meh." Yes, injuries obviously played a huge role. And last night was vey impressive. But I think getting Anzalone back made a huge difference. He's not noted as some other LB's in the league by most casual fans, etc...

    ***2025 NFL Season***

Thanks for coming Minnesota :) That said, its almost weird having so much hope as a Lions fan. With Montgomery possibly returning, Anzalone back, a couple other guys back... who knows

    ***2024-25 CFB Playoff/Bowl (Dec. 17-Jan. 20) Games Thread***

I disagree that it doesn't apply. Ask Notre Dame if it doesn't apply or if they still don't talk about the Bush-push. If Arizona State had won the game, 100%, Texas and social media would be lighting it up about that play. And saying that they were screwed. Just like the conversation here...

    ***2024-25 CFB Playoff/Bowl (Dec. 17-Jan. 20) Games Thread***

Targeting by its definition or any head to head contact is always reviewed. So that argument is a little loaded since it literally states it has to be reviewed to determine what to call it. That would be like a pitcher throwing the ball in baseball and the umpire decide to neither call it a ball...

    ***2024-25 CFB Playoff/Bowl (Dec. 17-Jan. 20) Games Thread***

Not if you watch college football and see the dozens of times officials review targeting, and either decide it isn't based on no apparent logic. I've seen players ejected for trying to avoid helmet to helmet and I've seen dudes lower their head like a billy goat and stay in the game. My guess...

Also, just for clarification NCAA 9-3-2b states: "A teammate cannot grasp, pull or lift the ball-carrier to assist in forward progress" I'm sure Texas would argue, Skattebo's last touchdown where the guard basically WWE suplexed him into the endzone would be counted as either grasping...
