Just closed 35 from Ames to the border with other north south roads closed does not look good for me.

Think we are still going to give it a shot from Cedar Rapids. Appears that we shouldn't have as much trouble between Cr and Colo, but from their into Ames they aren't recommending travel. Hopefully that gets better ing the coming hours.

With the weather and 35 closed.... they'll be lucky to hit 4k now IMO.

No way we are going to make it even if we wanted to. I35 is closed and many roads impassible. I will watch Iowa vs Ok State on FLo, then follow it up with the Clones vs Mizz.

Still debating on what to do. Still showing not advised from Colo to Ames. Can definitely get that far with minimal problems, just dont know how bad it really is between there and Ames.

Same here. It would have been my son's first wrestling match too. Frustrating!

Damn shame about the weather. Hopefully the team can wrestle hard this last month and really gather momentum into next year. Then get 10k at a non-Iowa dual next year (maybe ok state?)

I wouldn’t go if I was you. I’m sorry it sucks but if you aren’t in the blizzard area right now it’s really hard to comprehend how bad it is. I have a tractor with a blade on it and I couldn’t drive a half mile on the road to our hog barn for chores today because of drifts and visibility - I had to plow a way through the field.

I just really wouldn’t recommmend it to anyone that doesn’t have to. It’s downright dangerous in these areas right now.

This really sucks for the wrestlers.

Think that's where it lies for me. Sitting here knowing we can make it 3/4's of the way with probably no issues. Just having to go 20 miles in the worst of it makes it seem doable but not a certainty.
