That's an 11th question. You're breaking the rule of the thread.

"No no no! The second question was 'Do I really have to ask you two more times?'. So that would be the first question in a new line of questioning, and wouldn't count in the other line of questioning."

Long-winded but pretty much the same tenor. It's generally about the quality of lines not skill positions that determine the outcome.

Iowa State Cyclones
X-Factor: Offensive Line

Iowa State hasn’t been to a bowl game since 2012 and hasn’t posted a winning season since 2009. The team added just one win to its 2015 total last season, going 3-9 overall and 2-7 in the conference. Nevertheless, expectations are on the rise in Matt Campbell’s second year with the Cyclones. Iowa State was much more competitive throughout last season, losing four games by a single possession and coming up 10 points shy against Oklahoma before winning two of its final three games.

Quarterback Jacob Park established himself as the starter and leader of the offense, and the former Georgia QB has a talented group of playmakers. All-Big 12 wide receiver Allen Lazard had 1,018 receiving yards and seven touchdowns last season, and running backs David Montgomery and Mike Warren are one of the best duos in the league. Overall, 92.7 percent of the team’s offensive yardage returns from last year’s unit.

The defense had its ups and downs in 2016, and will feature several new faces, including former starting QB Joel Lanning at middle linebacker. However, five starters return including three defensive backs from last year’s third-ranked Big 12 pass defense (234.8 passing yards allowed per game).

The biggest question mark is on the offensive line. Only one full-time starter, sophomore center Julian Good-Jones, returns from last year’s squad, which ranked eighth in the league in rushing (162.8 yards per game) and allowed a league-high 32 sacks. Michigan grad transfer David Dawson should provide a boost, as well a healthy Jake Campos, who missed last season with a broken leg. Overall, the unit has combined for 35 career starts, which is the fewest in the conference and ranks 118thout of 130 FBS offensive lines.

But it’s worth pointing out that Campbell has a good track record of building and rebuilding offensive lines from his time at Toledo. For Iowa State to get back to the postseason, he’ll need to work his magic again.

If that article was really written on 8-15-17 like the link says, that guy didn't do even an ounce of homework.

Dave Dawson didn't last long at ISU.

Likely not written the day it was published. What became of Dawson?
Had heard it was a mixture of family issues and his attitude/work ethic. I'm not even sure if he was in Ames longer than a couple of days.

His scholarship got replaced by IWCC transfer Josh Knipfel, who reclassified (qualified) to 2017 from 2018. He picked up Michigan St, Virginia Tech, Memphis and West Virginia offers before committing/enrolling at ISU.

ISU was the winner in the end. Knipfel has 4 years to play 3.

The next time you attempt to pass off someone else's work as your own, could you at least paraphrase it into a more legible format? Thanks!
