It's very possible. Their remaining schedule is extremely favorable after beating a good non-BCS team in Fresno State. As long as they keep winning, they'll be favored in every remaining Conference USA game (helped by playing UCF at home).

They did have one almost-certain-to-be-a-loss entering the season: @Arkansas. But given how Arkansas is playing, they might even be the favorites there; if nothing else, it's not remotely a Hog gimme.

Tulsa's 7-1 so far, although not always in overwhelming fashion: 4 points over 2-6 Rice at home, a touchdown over 1-6 UAB. Most likely they'll be an underdog @Arkansas next week, and depending on how both teams play, they'll probably be close to even against UCF.

So what if they do?? It's not like they have a barn burner of a schedule....


Doesn't change the fact that we gotta take care of our own business.
