Defense stinks. They need someone to defend and stop the ball immediately in that situation. 22 just went unguarded to the top of the key to just have an easy entry pass into the post.

Ash can’t be thinking she’s getting a call there. Defense is what killed us though. Just not good enough down the stretch.
Why not Put even token pressure on Oklahoma’s last 2 inbounds from our end of the court? That would have helped.
Exactly what makes women's ball unwatchable sometimes. That wasn't a blocked shot, it was a foul. I'd guess wasn't even a case of officials swallowing whistles at the end, just bad calls.

Eh didn’t have Soares and they had a player shoot way above her norm. Lost right at the end on the road. Sucks but it happens. This team needs to get tougher though when the chips are down, especially on defense. Even one stop anywhere in the final two minutes and we likely win.
We win that game with Soares playing all game.....OU played well but they wouldn't have had the easy buckets in the paint with her defending down there
Agreed sucks to lose her because the game is probably a double digit win with her. When trying to win the conference, every loss is critical so it stinks this likely is one we would have won with our normal roster.
Don't get to watch a lot of women's games but it's hard to win consistently against quality opponents and on the road when 50+ % of your offense is from jacking threes. When they fall you can win (and win big) but when they don't you lose. Inevitably, both on the road and in the tournament Fenelly's teams always seem to do that (and underachieve to the capabilities).
Much like Hoiball. Entertaining, fun to watch, and can produce a lot of big wins. Inevitably the poor shot selection and suspect defense got the best of them when it mattered. Otz's brand is so much more sustainable and successful, even with lesser talent.

Hopefully Bill can figure out why the 3rd qtr collapse and fix it sooner than later
That 4th quarter had to be pretty entertaining for anyone in the national audience tuning in on ESPN2. Scored 31 points in the 4th but just couldn't get enough stops, or any stops, on the Sooners the last five minutes or so. Gave up 12 pts in the last 2 minutes.
