This is probably the first time I have been anxiously looking forward to a game in Lubbock in years. The team came out of a funk after the first 10 minutes vs OSU and looked pretty normal. My hope it that was a hangover from the Baylor game /McKay situation week. I want to see the team continue their play from the second half, especially on Defense. TT isn't a push over expecially at Lubbock, as we all are aware after last year, and this will be a tough game from start to finish.
Looking for Nader to rebound from his last game, I think he was trying to hard to make up for McKay's absense. Burton continues to get comfortable and we know what we'll get from Matt, Monte, and Georges. As long as we stay engaged I don't feel TT has enough scoring to stay with ISU, barring an unexpected shooting night. Thinking 8pt win but expect few stressfull minutes in the second half.

Go State!!! Beat the Tubby Techy's!

I think it was more of an issue of the changing positions. Georges to the 5, Burton and Nader to the 4. That changes our offense fairly dramatically, even though I'm sure we've had some stretches here and there where we've played that way. Another several days of practice should help.

I am glad Miles Simon is not calling our game. It seems we lose every game he calls. Baylor, Texas and WVU so far I can remember he called this year. Not the cause of our loses, but every little bit helps.

He didnt call the Baylor game, Fran And Jon did. He called the aTm game tho, and I am pretty sure we have lost every game he has called. We have Fran and Jon on Saturday and next Tuesday in Waco.

Have to stop Gotcher from 'going off'! He always shoots well against us in Lubbock. If OkieState could have stopped him (they tried) they would have won at Tech.

I don't think there was anything resembling a surplus of effort in Nader's performance. He came with zero energy and focus from the tip. I think that means he's due for 17 and 12 tonight.

Interesting take. I thought his energy was okay but was pressing and uncomfortable starting the 4 instead of the 3. After a couple of layups rimed out he may have gotten in a little down mentally especially trying to replace McKay's production. I'll be focused to his play @ PF tonight and see if he rebounds.

No stupid fouls, 30 feet from the basket. Or because you dont take a sidestep around a guy clearly waiting to take a charge. That's all I ask tonight. Looking at you, Georges. And Nader. And Burton.

You mean their annual escape to get drunk and cheat on their bfs or husbands? That's how the world works my man.

my buddies brother....his wife and her 4 or so best friends did this every year and the guys then did it at another time, was all fun and games until 2 of the girls got pregnant at the same time, they did the math and found out....yeah, the husbands were not the fathers. THey then got to thinking about it, none of the girls had tan lines where the wedding ring was either.

Similar story, by buddy bachelor party in cabo around spring break, were down there, find this group of girls close to our age, hanging out with them etc etc.....we figure out theyre using fake last names when a friend tried to add on facebook, the single one wasnt however. Looked up the girls as "mutual friends" and found out 3 of the 5 were married. Yikes. Moral of the story, dont let your wife and her friends go to cabo.
