In addition to our guys, I'm excited to see how Voelker and Land are looking from UNI.

There's a lot of hype around Land, in particular. I'm hoping we get to see a Frost v. Land battle tomorrow.
I saw Voelker in person the other day and I was a little shocked how small he was looking. Yonger looks like he would dwarf him. Maybe cutting down to 184 to take over the thrown after Keck? He is only a redshirt soph though, but they have five 197's listed on the roster and one at 184.

He looks like a tweener. I’m sure they will try bulking him up.

How tall is Yonger? Any idea?

No idea but from the times I've stood next to him he is much larger than expected in person.

I got the opposite effect with Voelker. I felt bigger frame wise. (Edit: Yes, I know he is WAY more jacked than me)
Yonger has to be 6'1" or 6'2". Guessing this is his last year at 197 before building up to Hwt

I'd say we did pretty darn well. I don't remember us having this many 1st place finishers in recent years in this tournament, but then it seems we usually have more open than frosh entries.

Think so? If so that’s kind of a bummer. We will have a huge hole at 197 and it’s hard for me to imagine him much bigger than 235. But if Zillmer can do it so can Yonger. You know, I’ve always been curious. If he’s the Yonger Bastida, where is the older one? Does he still have eligibility too?

I had heard he was close to touching 240 this year (but that seems extreme, probably closer to 225). I think he would be bigger than Sam and might be able to bulk up to 250 or so. Agreed I would rather he stay at 197 to allow Hagerty to redshirt a year

Schon slides into HWT after Yonger's last year next year? I hope Schon doesn't lose interest sitting on the bench for that many years. I hope Yonger can maintain 197 for the team's sake.

You better email your concerns to Dresser in case he hasn't thought of this and doesn't have a plan. <insert eyeroll gif>

I agree with your take but if the plan includes transfers that strategy hasn’t worked out very well lately. <wink>
