are they starters? I hate it when someone transfers to UNI from ISU and turns into a good player. I think that their kicker last year was a walkon at ISU first, and he was way better than anyone ISU has had for several years.

Brian Wingert (UNI's kicker last year) finished as the leading scorer in UNI history. And no he never walked on to ISU.

UNI is always stockpiled with good guys who transferred from BCS schools, the biggest example is Mike Furrey (a damn good NFL player) who walked on at Ohio State before becoming a Panther.
