Hey, what's up with the 2 pt. conversion attempt on the last TD? I didn't see the game, I'm out of town and followed the game play-by-play and saw the failed 2 pt. conversion. What happened, or why would we go for 2 at that point?

This was actually something I wanted to talk about. Why is it that ou PATs are still an adventure? We seem to find a way to blow one every game. Is it lack of focus, coaching or we just are cursed.

"attempt" is really a misnomer in the box score. I'd go with "accident."

If you get a chance to see that play "develop," it's pretty clear that the throw was going nowhere in particular, just not to WIU.

It didn't help that the tight end on that side didn't release AT ALL after the fireworks.
