Texas got a commitment from a JC Power Forward Obinna Oleka earlier today... He had offers from "Charlotte, Old Dominion, Southern Miss and South Florida were also pursuing Oleka, according to Rivals."

Is it just me or does Obinna look like Shep from Above The Rim?

Here are his Rivals and ESPN profiles. Also his juco stats from last season. He averaged 10.9 ppg & 6.2 rpg last season.

Okie just got a good commitment from Donte Buford forward 2014.

@ReggieRankin: Breaking News: ESPN 100 PF/SF Dante Buford has informed me that he is headed to Oklahoma over finalist South Carolina and Miami (FL)

K-State got a commitment over the weekend... I doubt EMAW is very impressed with Bruce on this one.

"Ultimately the decision to attend prep school paid off for Harris, who picked Kansas State over Delaware and Toledo"
2014 combo guard Tre Harris commits to Kansas State | CollegeBasketballTalk

Forget battling with WVU, OU and Texas...Kstate fans are going to look up very very soon and see they are fighting to stay with TCU and Tech. Both have solid coaches in place now and both are pulling in superior players.

This post is more for non Iowa State fans that are looking at this thread.

6'8 PF Jameel McKay has transferred from Marquette and has committed to the Cyclones. McKay will sit out the 2nd semester of the 2013-14 season and the 1st semester of the 2014-15 season. He will be eligible to play December 20, 2014 as a RS/Jr. He averaged 17.8 ppg & 10.5 rpg as a So in JC during the 2012-13 season.

McKay has been added to the list. Here are his Rivals and ESPN profiles:

For those of us who refuse to pay espn for what should be free. What grade did they give Iowa State?

Coach Fred Hoiberg has only three seniors on his current 14-man roster, so he is not looking for a lot in the 2014 class. So far, he has landed a super-solid point guard who has a chance to contribute immediately. Clay Custer (Overland Park, Kan./Blue Valley Northwest) can run a team and score. He is like a coach on the floor and is tough and scrappy. Don't be surprised if the Cyclones add a couple of pieces late, maybe someone from the juco ranks.

They obviously don't consider transfers. McKay and Nader would make our class an A- at worst.

I added what players will be returning for all the teams to the list. So now it shows who everyone loses, returns, and adds. I will continue to update the changes as they happen.
