Probably too early, but does anyone know how good those teams are projected to be next year? At the very least they're all from brand-name conferences.

Maryland isn't supposed to be anything good. They're bringing in 4 4-star freshman, but you combine that with Gillespie's inability to coach and lacking college experience, I think they're a middle of the pack Big Ten team next year.

Alabama was supposed to be a monster team this year, but they've played horrible ball and are overrated. Expect the same out of them next year. They're bringing in a great recruiting class, but have been the last two years and haven't been able to stay out of the SEC cellar.

Arizona State is losing their star player, so I expect them to also be down next year.

Man, those tickets are cheap for a tournament.
I clicked best available and can get center court on the floor for $100 a piece.
I'll probably hold off and buy some later with a group but man, that's a good price.

So do you get both games on each day when you buy the tickets? That ticketing website is pretty lame.

On the road...
ASU loses a ton of talent this year. Carson will go pro, Bachynski is a beast in the middle and they lose both Shaq McKissic and Jermaine Marshall. That is 54 of their 71 points. The next two leading scorers after those four, average 5/6 points a game and one of them is Bo Barnes...yes that Bo Barnes. They have zero talent coming in. My guess is they will be a bottom PAC-12 team.

Yes, very cool to get courtside. I bought four. Wish I had enough $ to afford it both nights, but went with courtside one night, and $45 tickets next night. Still good seats for those.

I would like to see ISU go to the Atlantis tournament one year. Would love to go to that resort, just need a good excuse.

Pretty meh I think, I would have to bet we are the favorites especially if McKay can be eligible.

Alabama struggled this year but not sure what they have back. Maryland is projected to be good since their whole roster is back and they had some big wins already this year. At least J. Carson is going pro, the point guard for Ariz. State. Decent teams.

Bump. Just got tickets to this. We went down to the Big 12 tourney and decided we had to go to this one too. Where does everyone usually stay? We booked late on the Big 12 tournament and ended up further from downtown, but we'd like to stay closer this time. It looks like closest hotels are the Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Aladdin, Hotel Phillips, Hilton President. I've stayed at the Marriott and the Holiday Inn Aladdin before and both were nice, but its been awhile.

Does anybody know what hotel the team usually stays in?

I live in KC but I've stayed in the Aladdin and the Crowne Plaza before. I liked the Crowne Plaza more, bigger elevators, and awesome views, plus it just felt nicer to me. Those are probably the 2 closest to the Sprint Center & P&L there might be 1 closer but it is double the price, I believe it's the Hilton President.

Maryland has now lost four starters to transfer since the season ended. They even had a walk on transfer. I don't know if I've ever seen that before. I am surprised how much Mark Turgeon is struggling to keep the ship afloat out there. I thought he'd do better.
