NBA draft seems like a vehicle to trade our best college players to Europe in return for their best projects.

It says something about our college/farm system that so many international players are being drafted in the first round.

Either the college/farm system is slipping, or international basketball is catching up big time.

A lot of the Euro guys aren't anymore of a project than college kids, and they've been playing against much better competition.

Or maybe talent scouts are trying to act like they know things that regular people don't by pretending they're so knowledgeable of European basketball.

Draft Express wrote the following about Simmons "Didn't always play with sense of urgency as his team struggled". I think in the old days we just called that "Lazy".

Watching the brief highlights of the Furkan kid, he does not look like an NBA player even in the slightest. If that's the best highlights...wow.
