Have no clue if it means anything, but Terrence walked himself out at the end of the game, and Lard didn't seem too concerned. He was making fun of him trying to walk with big icepack, quoting lyrics from Kutt Calhoun's "Walk wit a limp"

Did it look like anything happened when he landed? Or was it a pretty basic landing and then he just went down? I get it was a no contact injury but wondered if it looked like he hyper-extended or what..

Probably just a George Niang summer league type sprain

Aggressive drive to the basket. Might have gotten knocked off balance a bit. Landed and came up hobbling. Ran 2/3 of the way down court favoring his left leg, grabbed it and went down by the end of the opposing bench.

I didn't have a good view to see exactly what happened, just the aftermath.

I know this is my first post, but been around CF for awhile, finally something I feel like I can contribute to. I am guessing you are speaking of an ACL injury. I have torn my ACL and when it happens, you know it. You don't pop up and try to run down the floor, especially in a summer league game. There is an audio pop that you not only hear but feel. The fact that he supposedly got up and tried to run down the court makes it seem like a bit of a tweak or twist.

That's my experience with an ACL injury, doesn't mean there isn't something else that could be serious. Hope not, because we need him.

Yeah, but people forget that Beyerball played college basketball.

Not to split hairs, but just to clarify:
After he landed he took 4-5 running, badly limping steps and then went down. He did not try to get up after he was down. It happened right in front of me, and I do not recall any contact on the play.

With regard to Lewis and what position he is. At 6'5 his future is at SG. He may not be that right away though but if he wants to get to the league he is a 2.

Well if that's the case and he didn't go down to the ground initially after landing awkwardly, I would say that is even better news. If he felt and heard that pop that I felt and heard on the ol intramural fields, he wouldn't have even attempted to run. You immediately know something is very wrong. I am guessing there are others out there who have had this same experience.

I stayed down for a solid 10-15 minutes after I tore my ACL. Loud pop. No way I was running after it happened.

With that being said, I've seen others have much different experiences with ACL tears. A friend simply jumped up to grab the rim and came down a bit awkwardly. Had no inkling that anything was wrong beyond a simple tweak or sprain and it ended up being a torn ACL.

Thankfully, it sounds like Terrance did just tweak it a touch.
