Watching three point highlights of Shayok and Jackson back to back, is like night and day. Jackson has such a quicker release.

Hard to judge what we've got until we get them all on the floor at once. When will that be?

Parks from DMACC is an interesting guy to me. Had a nice freshman season averaging about 16 ppg. Super athletic and has good size for a perimeter player. Would have had a lot more offers out of HS if he had his academics straight. To me he's someone to keep an eye on for 2018.
I saw him play a couple times as a senior at IC West and I thought he was the best player on the floor by far over the McCaffreys and Lane.

Tonight Parks was sitting behind me and was absolutely bashing Donovan Jackson the entire game. I actually talked to Donovan about it and he thought it was kinda funny. (I snitched. Oh well lol) Parks is a pretty good player but he wouldn't shut up in the stands. He seems like a guy who loves hearing himself talk.

Jacobson appears to be a legit B12 caliber big man. Versatile too and has a solid all-around game.

Very good athlete but his skill level wasn't very high in high school. I mean compared to most high major prospects. I'm sure he's developed.

Doesn't sound like a guy we would want on our team then. Curious, tho, what was his (those you can repeat) criticisms of Donovan's game, if I may ask? Or due to where he's from, was it just more of an 'anti-iowastate' opportunity for him?

That's kind of misleading, I work at the scorers table and Wali is super funny and a lot of the guys from every school were chirping and having fun, not just ISU on ISU. The DMACC guys are pretty good friends with the Drake players, so they rib back and forth, and it carries over to the Iowa State guys as well. That's the nature of the Cap City haha

Sounds about right. I remember two years ago Deonte was jabbing and shouting at just about everybody, but everyone knew he was messing around.

I wasn't overly excited when we got Michael Jacobson. After watching him just once my opinion has completely changed. He's big, nearly as big as Solomon (and taller). His shot looks good. Hit 2 threes and of course I was slow on the camera and missed it.
Agreed. Is Jacobson available this year or next season?

Lewis is silky smooth man. He so reminds me of a cross between JOk and Barry Stevens. Justhis shoulders and build do.

Lewis will see floor a lot this year IMO.
