Holy crap - bad defense all night and Purdue puts up a goal line stand in 1OT.

And I agree - he might have been on top of a player, but his forward progress was stopped.

The ruling on the field was his forward progress stopped. They reviewed and said call on the filed confirmed.

Have the rules changed? Thought on the Texas Jeremiah George fumble play they said forward progress can not be reviewed.

Also a tenn player was pulling the RB. That's illegal.

I was just gonna add this. Announcers flabbergasted that the officials made the call that progress was stopped (it was), yet don’t even see the Tennessee guy illegally trying to pull the ball carrier forward.

Plus, ask Jeremiah George about “forward progress stopped” calls without a whistle :rolleyes:
