The Suns series is not over, but it seems the Lakers are odds on favorites there. Now that the Lakers are healthy again are they favored to repeat?

Who will give them the most trouble? Utah from the West or New Jersey, Philly in the East?

I feel like they aren't really that great but it's going to be more about how a team is built than talent. You have to have multiple bigs or be elite offensively. The Suns were the best matchup they could have had in the first round, A team like Portland would have been a really interesting matchup but they won't likely see them. I think the Bucks and Nets are best suited to give them fits but teams like Philly, Utah and Denver should be good matchups with them as well.

Last year Lebron basically averaged a triple double in the finals, if LA is going to win, it's going to take that kind of performance from him again. Right now, he doesn't look ready to do that again but there is still a long ways to go.

Thibs is a miracle worker. Ends 20+ years if suck for the Knicks. I was doubting if they'd ever not suck.
Absolutely agree. He knows what he's doing although I hope he doesn't burn out Randle. I was a little concerned with how much Rose played the other night too but when he was interviewed he said he was OK with it.
Also, nice to see MSG alive.

When they are good, the Knicks are easily my favorite team to hate. Goes back to the 80's and 90's when that place was brutal for visiting teams. When MSG gets going, it's one of a kind.

If you bet on NBA games, here's a ridiculous stat you should pay attention to. Call me biased on this one, Scott Foster is one of the worst NBA officials out there and he screwed up my favorite NBA teams more than once. I feel sorry for CP3.

Bucks revenge tour continues; absolutely rip Miami again. Holiday was a great pickup this off-season...dominates Miami’s entire backcourt. Nets and Bucks will be a great semifinal.

Added benefit to this 3-0 lead by the Bucks is that we have not had to listen to the headcase Jimmy Butler.

Wasn’t he caught up pretty heavy in the Donaghy stuff? It’s been awhile since I listed to the podcast series outlining all that.

Can anyone beat the Nets, or is this going to be like those Golden State teams where they just beat everyone and it was boring?

I think a fully healthy Lakers squad has a chance. Same with Milwaukee, sucks that Divencenzo is out though because he is a big part of that team even if not one of the stars.

Those GS teams were actually decent defensive teams, Nets have to prove they can stop people. Bucks will be dangerous because they can score, they are just as bad as the Nets on defense though so who knows. I think BKN could lose to anyone after this round. Handling the Celtics the first two games didn't prove much IMO.

Looks like C’s are gonna take this one. Harden with a good game so far for the Nets.

Tatum with 50....BS call on that challenge but it's poetic justice that Smart actually does take a charge and it gets overturned. Luka has 26 at half, that finish looks to be a doozy.

That “foul” was one of the worst calls ever.

To be fair, Chris Paul loses a lot of playoff games period.

Clippers get a win. Got to be one of the weirdest rosters in NBA. Leonard and George play the exact same position and the rest are nobody’s. Not surprising they struggle.

Trailblazers are not a fan of Scott Foster, either. Going back 9 years even.

A couple teams picked up their obligatory win one game in a series they are over matched in tonight. I would expect Dallas and Brooklyn to take care of business after tonight.

Did you say the bucks are just as bad defense? Lakers were the number 1 overall team defense, the bucks were 6th. The nets came in at 22. I would say that the bucks and nets are not even close as it pertains to defense. Where did you get that the bucks aren’t a good defensive unit?
