GS really needs a talent infusion. It's sad watching Curry play on such a mediocre team.
I think they have gotten better that last month or so but if Thompson comes back full strength and they help develop Wiseman and trade Oubre for some good depth I think they could be right back in the mix at the top of the West.

LeBron looks old.

I thought they might have to bring out the stretcher and paddles when LeBron got fouled late in the game. I know he's in Hollywood, but that was quite the acting job. The guy is a linebacker who is a little tougher than what he sometimes projects.

I think it's possible he looks old because he's getting "older", but my guess is the main reason he's slipping a bit, if you can call what he did last night slipping, is his ankle injury. For Lebron he didn't look close to looking close to being 100%. At least that's my hope.

As for the "acting" the contact on that foul to the head/face has been flagrant all season long. I mean the still frame shows both of Draymond' hands essentially palming Lebron's face. So, he two-handed shoved him in the face, poked his eye, and he ended up landing hard near his neck. If he embellished it was as much as any other player would have in that situation. And to be fair the other way... I have no defense of the phantom elbow from earlier in the game. That was terrible.

Also, to add to what others have said already... Holy **** is Curry amazing. The shot making by him was incredible last night(and always). And, the play-in has 100% been a success so far.

LA as a 7 seed and Golden State as an 8/eliminated is ridiculous.

The league is so deep right now.

The east is weaker as usual but it's not completely toothless either.

I love that the jerseys said Oakland and they moved out of Oakland.

There is method to the madness -- throwback w/historic reference with Oakland years (it's still ugly uniform based on '90s-era jerseys).

But injuries are part of getting old. Once you reach a certain age your body just doesn't heal the same, and bad injuries kind of just stay with you. That's been evident with LeBron the last few years.

Listening to LeBron's comments about his shot. Something along the lines of he got poked in the eye and saw 3 rims so he shot towards the middle one. So cringey.

He's become completely unbearable. Setting up this "so injured he can barely walk" narrative is weak as hell to me. If you're healthy enough to suit up and play, go play. No one buys this "never ben 100% again" or "seeing 3 rims" crap. Also rolling around grabbing the back of your head and your knee when you got poked in the eye is just plain silly.

What’s cringey about it? Getting poked in the eye pretty good can hurt like hell and affect your vision...

I thought it looked like Green actually did poke him in the eye and knowing Green likely intentional.

Then I see online comments and half the people saying he invented the entire thing. I'm not a huge fanboy of his but ridiculous for people finding a way to criticize his closing of that game.

Coming to league as an 18 year old gave him a shot at the career records but it also put on a lot of miles.

Even someone built like a tank can't play 100 games a year for 18 years without wear. MJ started that grind later, took 1.5 year break for a less physical sport, retired at this age, then took a few more years off before wizards comeback.

I don't doubt he's hurt. I'm just over the "try to convince the World it's a miracle I can even walk and yet here I am playing an elite level of basketball" **** with him. It's just a tired narrative he puts out every single year.

I'm not doubting he got poked in the eye or that it would hurt/affect your vision. "I saw 3 hoops so I shot at the middle one" is being dramatic and I don't believe him. LeBron is great, but he is never going to get the level of attention he wants.

I think it was more about how he kicked and flopped on the ground trying to sell the foul to get a flagrant called that is getting him flack. An eye poke sucks but I've never seen anyone respond like that. I mean he acted like he couldn't even stand up.

It's a bit dramatic but he was asked the question he responded. This is an entertainment industry afterall. People would be mad if he didn't answer and just said next question.

AD finishes around the rim like few, if anyone, ever has.

He's the third highest rated PER player in NBA history behind only MJ and LeBron...that's a hell of a sidekick to lean on.

That makes more sense.

If someone doubts Green eye poked him it must have been the first NBA game they watched.

Seems about half the commenters doubt Green would eye poke someone...you know, morons.
