It is amazing how much of a turnaround Bo Nix has had this year. He always looked bad at Auburn and is a stud at Oregon. Hard to tell if it was all coaching, supporting cast, or what.
Bo Nix is a tough, tough kid. He was an Auburn Legacy. His dad was QB at Auburn during the early Terry Bowden Era in the early-mid 90s. Two years ago @ Alabama, the Tide hammered Auburn (42-13) and beat up Bo Nix. However, he got up after every play and finished out the game. He earned a lot of respect from me that night. He could barely walk off the field at the end, but he never quit. I sure wish ISU had landed him in the Portal!

Watching the Utah State vs Hawaii game in Hawaii (yes I'm a CFB sicko) and our Big 12 "buff" ref is the head official for that game, since we share refs with the Mountain West conference. Gotta be a good gig, getting paid to go to Hawaii for a weekend.

I am not so sure TCU stumbles at all the rest of the way through the Big 12 title game. Next week at Baylor is their only real test IMO and Baylor isn't playing for much anymore.

As of today I think the CFP ends up as follows (not where it stands now):

1-Georgia
2-Ohio State
3-TCU
4-Tennessee over Michigan because of quality of teams overall they beat)
I think K-State with Howard is a significant challenge for TCU. If the Cats went with Howard all year instead of screwing around with Martinez I think they would be undefeated. They just are dominant with him in the game in a way we really haven’t seen anybody else in the Big 12 be this year. They were actually dominating TCU until he got hurt.

I kind of think they’re going to beat TCU in the rematch and end up screwing the Big 12 out of a playoff bid just like Baylor did to Oklahoma State last year.

Kansas State in the title game with Howard at QB will absolutely test them.

Edit: Applecorn beat me to it
