Congrats man, 1 of the 4 decommits is from the Midwest. I’m just saying it’s far from home, it’s cold and it’s not glamorous to come to play at Iowa State. Kids from the Midwest that are close to home and used to cold won’t care as much. But some kid from Florida has some more things to think about. It’s not like I said stop recruiting kids in Florida, we get good guys from there. But you can’t rely on that state to be the bulk of your class.

Orange will be selecting ISU around 1030 this morning. Big pickup.
A DL rotation of Thomas, Deyo, Orange, Onyedim, Brown, and Moten makes me tingle in all the right places.
He is an elite talent. I think he could play both sides of the ball. May be something where they want to get him here and evaluate first.
My same thought. Although Orange will be a Nose Guard and Deyo is more of a 3 Technique (Enyi position). I think if Moten comes on board - he's a 3T - then it might say more. But yeah...just get Deyo on campus and figure out best fit. He'll be a great college player either way, but I think his path to the pros is more clean at C/OG.

Orange needs his own thread. Kid is a monster and for those who care about offer lists (and there are A LOT of people who care about that kind of thing), his was a who’s who of schools. I need to see his commitment video, because I have heard he tossed the Ohio State cap over his shoulder before putting the Iowa State one on.
He's a bit of a project at this point. We were the only committable offer between his final four
Which is fine, IMO. Feels like because of his athletic ability he was still a fallback potentially for the bigger names at this point, but I trust in Coach Rasheed to mold that clay into a real disrupter on the d-line.
