I think we're seeing (so far) that the Big Ten was OK this year, but when you put their squads up against any type of defense or a really experienced roster, they struggle. We're also seeing that the MWC teams were not built for great success in the tournament.
Yep no elite teams in the big ten this year. Iowa is a bad loss otherwise it’s just a 12 and 11 seed losing games they are supposed to.

There were scenarios where both OU or K-State could have ended up in the tourney from the B12 if certain games had gone a bit differently, and in that case I'm not convinced they would have been terribly successful. B1G getting 9 in means that there was quite a bit of mediocrity in the league that made it into the tournament - great at first glance but not going to mean those teams are dangerous.
