I gave up on the NFL when those clowns didn’t draft Lazard. If Breece Hall played for some toilet school he would have been drafted by now. Such bad and hateful people towards ISU. Useless people.
Next to special teams specialists running backs are least likely to be taken in the first. The difference between Breece and the 15th rated running back just isn’t big enough to justify them being that important to be in the first round.

The only vendetta the NFL has against ISU is the fact that ISU has sucked most of the last 50 years and hasn't had NFL-worthy players, especially not first round. Are teams kicking themselves they missed on Lazard? Maybe. Probably not, actually. If Aaron Rodgers didn't go to bat for him he'd be a footnote in NFL history - and nobody would have missed him.

But the whole "the NFL hates ISU and is keeping us down" is one of the worst takes ever. It sucks Breece may not go in the first round, but I said months ago that Breece in the first round was a longshot because RB isn't a valued position in the NFL anymore - a decent RB is a dime a dozen, and nearly everyone that drafts RBs high in the draft lives to regret it.

I was just going to post this. Disregarding special teams it seems running back is the least valued position.

A lot of it has to do with the wear and tear of the position. How many RBs anymore are still playing when they reach their 30s? It's not worth it for most teams.

I get a kick out of the fans there when they hear the pick for their team, there is a pause in celebration after they hear the name of who was picked, which they don’t seem to have heard of, and then act all excited!

My boss is going to be PISSED.
Any WR they would have taken would have been a stretch. The value just wasn't there, But, they need to do something on offense. That receiving corps is pretty thin

It get's mocked at and mentioned multiple times a year online. It's embarrassing as ****
By who? Squawks? I rarely hear anything about it outside of this forum. Very few pay that much attention to those details outside their own direct school they follow. Unless you are dealing with TOE fans that can't get us out of their heads.

Not exactly sure.

They have some aging expensive DTs. This may save them some Money to throw at a WR FR
