It’s hard for me to watch Miss St just because their uniforms are so ******* terrible.

It’s not the helmets that bother me…. I couldn’t listen to those cowbells all game. Would never attend a single game there even if I were a huge fan…. due to the cowbells.

Now I have to watch the ******* PAC12? Let’s get some Big 12 action at this time. I need more, not bore after the end of those 2 SEC games.

Please tell me that if Bama loses tonight that they are done for, right? As far as making the playoff.

Feel pretty certain they will not need a 13th data point to get in if they compete with 2 loss teams that play 13 games. I don’t know if this knocks them out of title game, I’m guessing they have to finish 2-0 while LSU finishes 0-2? Doesn’t seem likely but who knows.

No joke I fricking hate Texas. Yet I somehow found myself pulling for them solely because of surly and the obnoxious K State fan base. I do not want them in the Big 12 title game. Ok now I need a shower pulling for the Whorns.

Somehow KSU is turning their pretty average year into some mind blowing success in their minds. We played like garbage against them yet hung in there. We played maybe our best game against Texas or they’d have easily rolled us.

I didn’t watch the OKSt/KSU game and it’s honestly hard for me to understand that score having watched a lot of other KSU games like today. It has to be more about OKSt than KSU.

Holy ****. Chaos week could be here. No Bama and no Clemson in the CFP would be a great thing for CFB.
* (holds monkey’s paw) “Please give me a college football playoff without Alabama for once”

* (monkey’s paw shakes as one finger curls inward)

* CFP committee: “Our 2022-23 playoff field is Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, and Ohio State! Yes, three teams from the SEC, for the first time ever! You’re welcome, America!”

Calling it now. ISU ruins it for the big 12 playoff run by beating TCU! We tend to do that :)
Honestly it's a win-win for me. I want Iowa State to win every game, even if it means we F over the conference. Also, there's no guarantee even if TCU beats us that they win the Big 12 Championship Game. Plus TCU would likely be top-4 at that point so the pub for getting a road win like that would be crazy awesome.

But if we lose, oh well because now TCU has a chance to make the CFP.

ESPN did run a graphic late showing the odds for both teams to make the SEC title game. Either team had an 84% chance with a win; the Bama loss dropped their chances down to 10%.

Definitely more about Okie State last week against KSU. Easy to see now after how today went against KU for the Pokes. They have so many injuries, and I am wondering if they are starting to check out. Hope so for our sake.

I’m just excited to see our offense have a little success so they have something to look forward to and grow a little bit. It’s a lot easier to correct mistakes and make progress after a win and some actual cfb points.

Is Tennessee a lock for the CFP? Their last 3 games are against Mizzou, S Carolina and Vanderbilt.
Could be, but I am generally not a fan of teams not making their CCG getting in the playoffs.

But if GA wins the SEC CCG the Volunteers probably deserve it. It could get interesting if LSU would win out and wins SEC CCG.

No.

1. GA
2. tOSU / Mich winner
3. TCU (if undefeated)
4. PAC champ (if 1 loss)

If don't see the committee (ESPN) going out of their way for Tennessee like they did Bama. The PAC's top teams have backloaded schedules and if one of them survive the rest of the way without losing another I think they're in easily. TCU will have to be undefeated as there isn't any real juggernauts in the conference to boost a resume in a CCG.

But Tennessee will be in the mix if one of those teams stumbles. If Mich brats tOSU, I could also see tOSU and Tennessee being an argument, but I think Tennessee still gets the spot.

The announcer said that with Mississippi State winning and LSU winning, Mississippi State still has a path to winning the SEC West. That'd be an interesting twist. If they beat Georgia next week (doubtful) that could really stir things up.

I think the Big Ten winner should be no better than #4.

Having a walkover conference championship game should deduct style points.

TCU has proved me wrong thus far but I don't see them going undefeated. What would be interesting is would the committee pick TCU as a 1-loss Big 12 Champ over Tennessee?

If the OSU - UM game ends up reasonably close, I’m pretty sure the b1g will get two teams in. An undefeated TCU would make things really interesting in that scenario. I could see the committee putting them at #4 if they win this week, fully intending to drop them out after winning the B12 CCG and using their old eye test excuse. Clearing the way for their choice of one-loss teams.

TCU isn't getting in unless they run the table. I'd give them about a 5%chance of doing that since they have a very tough 4 games left.

A month from now they will be an afterthought, probably going to a solid bowl, but nothing else.
