Remember when we were all upset about losing Hunter?

The guy is simply not good.
People thought I was crazy when I said Lipsey was better than Hunter. I was never impressed with Hunter. Not a great passer, can’t create own shot, not a good shooter.

Well, Blum did say that ISU is in the 300s as far as "Luck" factor. You have to think that will begin to even out at some point. "Luck" means teams shoot better than they should against us, get more than their share of 50/50 balls, etc. It might just mean that we defend loosely and slowly, but I don't see that in the action, so I believe we have had some bad luck in the games.

Eh, the "luck" metric doesn't really mean actual luck.

Its basically a margin of error. A "our model says they should be performing at X, but they're performing at Y level, the difference between X and Y is "luck", which could be any number of less measurable factors that make a team good or bad.

Seriously tanked his NBA draft stock. Sure, leave a program that has put their last 3 PGs in the NBA (Morris, Wigginton, Haliburton). (which is what I said on his transfer thread)

I'm not sure if ISU had anything to do with that. They were just good and had offensive skills.

Hunter is limited and not tall so he went and got money while he could.

New most annoying Head Coach honors goes to Travis Ford @ St. Louis University!

The former Mizzou Tiger and Kentucky Wildcat player literally lived, danced and camped on the floor during the game @ Drake tonight. On one possession, he was on the court behind the Drake player with the ball and yelled when he took a shot. What a goober moron. The refs let him get away with it too.

FWIW, Drake came back in the last five minutes to win 75-69 after looking awful and getting down by double digits in the first half.

OSU letting Ford go was dumb move years back. Really solid coach and recruiter. I imagine he will get another opportunity at P5 level soon enough.

He's made one tournament and two NITs at a top 3 A10 job. He's more likely to get fired there than he is to move up and I think the patience is running thin. SLU has always thought they were above the Valley and he got drilled by SIU and blew a lead against Drake last night.

Nothing personally against Ford or SLU, but it was a h*ll of a lot of fun watching UNI drill them on their own home court in the NIT a couple of seasons ago. If you're right about patience wearing thin that loss would be another reason why.
