I'm not a big NBA guy at all but like to keep tabs on our guys. Can someone handicap how Monte, Haliburton, etc have looked so far in the playoffs?

Conley being old as dirt still gets a lot of minutes so Monte hasn't done much.

Halliburton was quiet in game one. Only 9 points on 7 shots.

Played better last night with a double double (12 points and 12 assists). Siakim seems to be their primary scorer now, since they acquired him at the deadline

I respect Embiid for trying to play more minutes but he couldn't do anything the last minute or so. He couldn't really even risk playing defense with 3 fouls. Knicks went right at him. You gotta sit him there.

LA LA Land
Unreal with Denver, just like first 2 games LA plays well early but slowly Denver gets back in the game and takes control or like game 2 wins in dramatic fashion.

I saw that in nba playoff history there have only been 8 times a player has had 25pts, 20 rebounds and 10 assists. Joker has FOUR of them and the other four are spread out among legends.

Lakers just gave up as soon as Denver tied it in the 3rd quarter. I feel bad for AD, he's the only reason they've been competitive but everyone is acting like lebron is carrying them. It'll be interesting to see what heads roll after Lebron starts pointing fingers.

In the last year, Denver has…
  1. Swept the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals
  2. Beaten the Lakers in the day they unveiled the Kobe statue
  3. Beaten the Lakers the day LeBron got 40K points
  4. Beaten LeBron more times in a row in the playoffs than any other team in his career
  5. On the verge of sweeping them again and beating them for the 12th straight time
After decades of futility against LA, I am thoroughly enjoying this. I have never seen one of my teams treat a blue boood like a red-headed stepchild this badly before. I hope ISU can start a streak like this against Iowa
