Part of that is on the QB. Tom Brady has said he would not throw a ball to an open receiver if he saw a defender ready to knock his lights out right after he would catch the ball. A 5 yard gain is not worth the punishment your teammate will take

Um, they kinda have to be selfless if they want to play since it's their job.

Kittle's great but downfield blocking isn't some outlier.

Purdy generally does the same thing. It's part of the reason why everyone on the team has his back. That and he helps the Niners win.

Take out his first 4 throws (all incompletions) and his line is 19 of 23. Probably good enough completion percentage then to hit the perfect rating yet again.

Brock has been so dang good today. On the road in a huge game. Man, it's so fun to root for him and he is such an incredible ambassador for ISU!

Really great he didn't mess up first couple of drives when the heat was on. Extremely veteran play on his part, cause the eagle players and their fans where rampit to see Brock fail
