Given how coaches operate, listing an injured guy on the two-deep makes it more accurate.

Y'all way more confident about UCF than me, they were a tough out in their first year in the league. I'm Not informed about their QB situation this year tho.

UCF will be tough every year. Malzahn is a great recruiter and is in the heart of SEC country. He’s able to land these SEC kids that transfer due to playing time. The Jefferson kid was never an SEC QB, he just made the most of his opportunities at Arkansas. I think I’m most excited for this game this year honestly

I really really like the potential of this starting OL

You don't list Dylan Lee at RB... and IMO he might get the 2nd most carries this year. However, I know the staff really likes Carson too, so that will be interesting to watch.

I think Jaylon Jackson might end up being a starting kick returner.

I know Lee is talented and I expect him to get touches but still a true freshman. Jackson could play in other areas but Hanson will definitely get more touches than him...

Noel is the primary KR and PR, had some great returns last year.

Hufford, Neal and presumably Travis are 3 of the best 5 OL ISU has.

Eh he’ll definitely play a lot, he was just raw coming in to football, played only 2 years of high school ball before hand.
In the end they’ll be a lot of competition for starting spots as well as lots of rotations.
I’m glad there’s depth though because that leaves room for other guys like Berrett, Bonifas, and Neal to come in if other guys aren’t doing so well.

Because we have actual depth. What a problem to have!

The defensive end spots are loaded. Maybe not with NFL talent, but there are at least 6 guys there that can play. Same thing with the o-line and safety positions.

He won’t be penciled in automatically but he will start by beating people out. He was an absolute stud last year. If he plays to his ceiling, he’ll be another OL of Clantons that will go in the first round

And we don't even know what the incoming freshman have to offer. Seems like each year under CMC a few freshman are just too good to not play.
