Yep. They brought the blitz, which I think was a good idea, but nobody got home and Ewers made the play. Sucks.Man 4th & 13 and you give up the td. Tough way to go out

That’s what they are banking on.
'You had them you schmucks! I'm bringing UCONN in now for sure!'Wondering what Yormark will have to say about this, too.
Agree. I have zero problem bringing a little heat there to avoid Ewers having all day to pick the field apart.Yep. They brought the blitz, which I think was a good idea, but nobody got home and Ewers made the play. Sucks.
This^I really think the officiating needs to be looked into there. If you are going to put millions of dollars on the outcomes of these games, you just cannot have such obviously wrong calls in review.
That call doesn't just affect this game, either. That DB would have to sit out the first half of their next game had they made the right call and UT still won.
I sat at Christmas with a person that is an avid sports fan that has no allegiances. They don't understand how I got so riled up about the ISU / Miami game. He just likes to watch exciting sport of all sorts and doesn't get all riled up.I'll never understand how the typical sports fan is 100% different than me.
I have zero interest now, especially knowing these two conferences have done everything possible to destroy Iowa State and teams like us. Every year if the NCAA tournament ends up with all blue bloods I instantly tune out and ignore, compared to like the two years Butler went all the way I was glued to it.
Easily correctable mistake but don't let the refs on the field off the hook. That kinda textbook targeting with an injury generally draws multiple flags. It wasn't the officials on the field. It was the review officials. If that wasn't targeting, there's no such thing as targeting. Those in power got their wish, Texas/SEC avoid a playoff loss to the Big 12.
I think it will make that harder now, at least for 1 more year. There's a chance it's the only bid the conference ever gets that isn't a road game to start off.
same. I’m pretty much done with this now. I might have it on a little in the background but that’s it. I just do not care.I'll never understand how the typical sports fan is 100% different than me.

Usually. There was the year Kyler Murray took Georgia to double overtime.Honestly, the past two years is the best Big 12 has ever shown up for the playoff.
OU always popped the bed.
That safety ****** up terriblyIf you bring heat,
You have to lock up on the receivers.
And the deep safety has to stay deep

Guy brought the house, and UT blocked it, would have been better off blitzing a couple and kept the other safety back to help.Man 4th & 13 and you give up the td. Tough way to go out
What a game by ASU. Should be very proud of the effort they gave. Sometimes it just goes the other way.
