they will be if the Tech score holds up. add in the distractions with the transfer portal they've been dealing with the last few days, it would be nice if we have an unmotivated K-State team that isn't ready to play.
We didn't anticipate Utah's 5th string QB to get into the game...probably didn't fully prepare for it either. Had to adjust on the fly. That won't be the case with Kansas State.
Sun Devils have a bit of a nutcup history themselves. Could easily see UA, with no possibility of a bowl game, coming out strong to ruin ASU's season.
In college football all bets are off in rivalry games. Could be fun.
They said 3% on the Baylor halftime show, but that could be even lower now depending on the likely results.

If we make to the championship… what’s everyone’s game plan for getting tickets? I was thinking about jumping on it right after our game if we win, but tickets are already pricey for nosebleed sits.
If we play BYU then I assume they won’t get any better since they have a large following. However, if ASU wins and ISU wins then BYU fans should start selling their tickets at the end of our game I would think.

But that has an out if Baylor and Cincy win. And Baylor won. So we have another avenue.
honestly, even going back to last week, the only thing ISU really needed to worry about was beating K-State. IIRC with an ISU win, of the ~120 possible outcomes, only 6 of them were "doomsday". everything else is "whataboutism", and while I get that's what we do as fans... the bottom line is "just win".
Seems like some things bad that “could” keep ISU out are happening (if I read some previous posts correctly). Baylor beat KU and TTech beat WVU.
- Colorado over OSU; and CHECK
- ASU over Arizona; and
- Houston over BYU; and
- Texas Tech over West Virginia; and CHECK
- either TCU over Cincinnati or Kansas over Baylor (edit this is the one I misread)
we wanted Baylor to beat KU, so that did work in our favor.
It’s at least very simple now. 1 of these 3 things gets us in with a win: Arizona over ASU or Cinci over TCU or BYU over Houston.Me every time I think I have it figured out.
