Did they even fire Norvell and the old staff yet? I can't believe Norvell survived this year, even with all the changing of financial models in cfb.
Norvell is still there but he’s overhauling his staff. Gus will call plays, which was usually Norvell.

They have 54 million reasons to keep him.

Buyout drops to $54.4 million after the 2025 season
Buyout drops to $45.6 million after the 2026 season
Buyout drops to $36.8 million after the 2027 season
Buyout drops to $27.7 million after the 2028 season
Buyout drops to $18.5 million after the 2029 season
Buyout drops to $9.3 million after the 2030 season

He would get $875,000 a month through Dec. 31, 2031 if they fired him today.

Whoever wrote up his contract is a genius.
I could squeeze by on $875,000 a month.

Actually not surprised. He is just like Chizik - had an amazing career ahead of them as coordinators but by the time they got knocked back down from HC to those roles, their uniqueness had already passed them by. Obviously their ego was going to tell them they could be HC and it’s 20/20 hindsight, but they never seemed like good HC candidates from the start.

You’d be fine, the price of hookers and blow isn’t quite what it used to be.

Disclaimer - never used either, just assuming as commodities.

You’ve gotta start slower though. As you go, you need more blow and better hookers to get the same thrill. So start out of a $500,000 burn rate and you’ll be happier with the results.

Pitt started the season 7-0 (like us) but they are on a 4 game losing streak and are behind today at Boston College. Could end up 7-5 very easily. Now 3 of the loses are Clemson, SMU and L'Ville, but Virginia at home and now BC?

Maybe BIG will pull both OSU and Michigan from playoff consideration…. I am only kidding. Money over integrity:mccaffery::chizcoin:

Fair or not I still don’t think Notre dame is out at 10-2 due to bias and ratings.
Wait, hold up - this would be their second loss? When did they lose before? All the pundits are saying they’ve done enough (by beating Navy, Army, and Purdue, I guess) to make up for whatever imaginary “loss” they may have suffered, don’t ya know
