Could be a run coming. Not that he will sneak into the 1st, but none gone and lots of teams need them.
The way this is breaking down 4 of the next 10 picks could be D backs. Lots of great players still on the board and a lot of teams need a corner.

So far this is looking great for KC, one of the two Texas receivers or Guyton the tackle from OU is going to be there at 32.

Besides Brady, who was the last team to make the Superbowl with a QB they acquired in free agency? Maybe you count Nick Foles? Although he only played in the post season.

To be clear, I'm not arguing with you that a team selecting QBs at the top of the draft every 3-4 years is a recipe for success, but the alternative doesn't have a great track record either.
Drafting a QB has a hell of a lot better success rate than free agency. The latter doesn’t really work. Hell, unless a QB you draft is pretty much looking like he could be a hall of famer, signing him to his second contract doesn’t really work.

And plenty of teams have wasted picks doing the QB in waiting thing that worked with Love. But provided Love has another good year, they’ll be in the same boat most teams are since he is a FA in 2025. They’ll have to pay him a **** load, and that roster starts taking huge hits.
