I really thought Denver was going to make a run at Brown. Murray plus Cam Johnson’s expiring for Brown and another bench player for contact purposes. That would seem like a better deal than what Philly offered.

That’s not true at all. All the reporting around LeBron right now is that money is not a factor at all, he’ll play wherever he feels like it’ll be the best fit for him personally. Hes not getting a max anywhere

Really? I hadn’t heard that. I can’t imagine any teams willing to go that far over the second apron for him.

He asked for the max from the Lakers. I guess that could have been posturing to get out of LA. But we’ll see just how much he’s willing to leave on the table to play for a championship contender. Cause for some of the teams discussed, he’d need to take a really small contract or owners will have to be willing to write a big check for being into the second apron.

Did not see Monte Morris or Niang ???
