I think they are trying for what the Florida panthers have done and been wildly successful at. It seems like the players love living out together in some expensive subdivision away from the city and really these mega cities are so large the teams can still fill an arena every night away from a downtown.

Mcnabb taking that puck off the nose… my god that had to hurt.
League office must’ve wanted to prevent the sweep on that no goal call. The goalie didn’t ever control the puck.
Or did the Vegas player poke it out of the goalie’s control after the whistle? Kind of looked like that
Whistle was certainly pre-mature IMO.
But I also question why Vegas wouldn’t pull their goalie to get a 6 on 4 with 3 minutes left.
I’m gonna side with Messier on this one. The puck didn’t seem controlled and the offensive player has the right to poke check at it. But I also would agree that there isn’t enough video evidence to see for sure whether the puck was secured by the glove or if it was still loose under the arm, so the video review stood.
Man that was a hell of a game, there is noting better than playoff hockey.
