2.1" of rain between between midnight and 1. Round 2 started 10 minutes ago. Looks like a round 3 later today. I guess my fieldwork in the rice paddies will get delayed again.

It’s got great flavor. Cooking it is a bearcat. Yellow or bi-color you can see the slight color change. White sweet corn looks the same freshly picked to fully cooked.

some of these people will roast you for boiling ANY sweet corn for more than 30 secs.

High input growers run stakes and twine for plant support. This is expensive (labor) but it can really pay for itself

When they get a bit taller. They will run the first twine. Connect at the end and wrap around each stake once. Usually will have 2-4 twine lines as the plant grows
