No one is bashing Devries's coaching ability or his decision to take his dream job. They are questioning his disinterest during WVU's upset loss to Colo in the Big 12 touney. It just is a bad look. had he made a run in the big 12 tourney, then its a whole different story.
Well... last time I looked coaches coach and players play. So unless it was a conspiracy by the whole WVU coaching staff, then maybe CU was just a better team that night.

CU beat TCU the night before, what new job has Dixon secretly applied for? CU stunk during the Big12 season, but they managed to play well in KC and won 2 games and lost to Houston by 9.

Seems like a random justification. Iowa State got ripped by WVU, OSU and KSU during the Big 12 season. Were those schools better that day/night or was TJ tanking the game? Let's check if TJ has a FanDuel Accounto_O

Way up there
Wren baker said WVU will have a new coach in the next few days. He said WVU's NIL money is among the best in the country, and that the new coach will have the resources and fan support to be successful.

My money is on the Drake coach if he hasnt already signed @ Iowa.
Wren Baker is a very good AD.
The next WV coach will be sitting in a nice spot. Donors and fans will be fired up to get behind someone who wants to be there. It's always been a really good job and amazing fanbase but DD+NCAA snub have them really riled up. The next coach should be able to get things rolling.

Gary Barta deserves some accolades from Iowa fans for those secret contract extensions, the sex discrimination lawsuit, and shutting down the men’s swimming program. Hang the banner in CHA!

"Don’t talk about the end of college sports as we know it, or an unsustainable financial structure, or the death of the amateur model and the loss of what’s important in the college experience."
Ok, but why not?
"What exactly is the difference between DeVries leaving West Virginia in the Big 12 for Indiana in the Big Ten, and quarterback John Mateer leaving Washington State from the dying Pac-12 for Oklahoma in the SEC?"
And what is your point? Just say it. The SEC and B1G are taking over. How is that not the end of college sports as we used to know it?
