I realize big league teams feel they are usually the best athlete on the field, but I was hoping the Twins wouldn’t take a SS with their first pick. Maybe Houston will see the field in five years.

Wood wasn’t going to be there at #36, but I like the Riley Quick pick. On to #54.

Being a fan of the Brewers and wanting the league they are in to win the All Star Game is ridiculous. When they were in the AL, the NL usually won. Now they are in the NL, the AL usually wins.

The Rockies had the worst first half in baseball history in win percentage and run differential.

So, naturally the Rockies are up 5-0 after two innings.

Twins should seriously consider trading Ryan at the deadline. Value won’t get any higher. Would be the best SP on the market.
No don't trade Ryan, he's under team control through 2027. He is probably our best player going forward and is entering his prime years. We could easily compete again next year with our pitching staff if the offense finally pulls together.

My guess with the "pending" sale, the front office's marching orders are to remain stationary. Meaning only trade expiring contracts, don't take any long term contracts and basically tread water.

Agree on not trading Ryan. Get what you can for Coulombe and Topa and throw in Keirsey to any deal.
